Grace Patong Hotel

I left my earbuds behind, and the staff arranged to courier them to Bangkok. I really appreciated how responsive and helpful they were. We booked room only and stayed four days in the second week of December 2025. The room was in excellent condition and spotlessly clean, the location was excellent, and service was right on point. The staff were very friendly. All the best to the hotel, and I hope to return.

The location is the one thing this hotel has going for it, with everything close by. I was uncomfortable throughout the stay and wished I’d chosen somewhere else. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the rooms are tiny and basic, without even a coffee machine. Shower temperature swung from freezing to extremely hot within seconds, which was especially unpleasant in hot weather when you need to shower often. Housekeeping mostly just made the bed. Sheets weren’t changed unless we asked, the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned, and tissues weren’t replenished. Breakfast was repetitive and boring, with very few choices and very bad coffee. If not for the location, I wouldn’t book here again.

The rooftop infinity pool is a decent size and looks out over the area, and there’s also a decent gym. Bangla Road is about 200 metres away. We stayed for seven days with friends, and the rooms and bathrooms were quite decent for the price, with enough space. The staff were among the kindest people we’d met, friendly and accommodating with all our requests. It’d be an ideal place for a trip with friends or family.

I paid around £46 a night in mid-December for a Deluxe room with a balcony. The air conditioning was great and the air quality was good. The service was good too. There’s a market outside, a couple of 7-Elevens nearby, and the hotel is in a great spot near the Arab strip. You’re close to the main strip, but far enough away from its noise to stay comfortable. I’d recommend it.
