Il Mare Patong Place

At the last moment, everything else was 5-7 times higher than my booking price, but luckily I found a hostel at a bit more money and could stay in patong. This was horrifying. I booked this hotel two months before my visit. When I arrived, I was told they were full and had no room. A sophisticated lady first said there was no room, then said they could arrange one, of course for double the price. The hotel's apparent way of operating is to take a non-refundable booking, with payment due in cash at the hotel and card details as support, then ask for more money on arrival or say there's no room. They check the same-day prices at other hotels and ask you to match them. If you refuse, you end up in phuket with nowhere to stay. At the last minute, prices everywhere are sky high, and you're caught in their trap. While I was there, they did the same thing to four people from another Country who had booked two rooms for two days. This really happened to me. If you don't want this, please avoid booking here.

The rooms and bathrooms are very neat, and they're cheap, budget rooms. It's near patong beach, bangla night Market, and plenty more. There's a seven 11 market right opposite. Don't expect breakfast, bottled water, or coffee. You can rent a bike from the same place.

The bed was super comfortable for the price per night, and the staff were really friendly, helpful, and gave good recommendations. The location's great too, with a 24-hour 7Eleven opposite the hotel and Patong Beach and Bangla walking street 500 meters away. I'll definitely see you next trip in Patong :)

The room was nicely decorated, the location is good, and the price is reasonable. The only thing I didn't like was that there's no elevator.
