La Casa Patong

Right in the middle of everything you need in Patong, and really good value. The room was basic but super clean, with a fridge, kettle, great AC, and a good bathroom. They cleaned daily and left fresh towels and complimentary water. They take a 1,000 baht deposit when you arrive, which was fine and expected. You can hear people coming and going in the corridor, but it didn’t really bother us. Highly recommend!

We booked through Agoda and had a really disappointing experience. While extending our stay, I accidentally chose the same dates instead of starting the next day. I noticed within 15 minutes and told reception right away; they directed me to Agoda. Agoda support responded and sent the property a date-change request. The owner rejected it. I also spoke directly with the owner and management, asked for a simple change, and offered to pay the difference for the next day. They refused and instead wanted another 500 THB per room, around 150% above the original booking price. We had 3 rooms and reported the mistake almost immediately, but the property showed no flexibility or consideration. Very unprofessional service. I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s handy for getting around, close to everything, and because it’s off the main road it’s quieter at night. Our room was quite small and on a higher level, so the stay wasn’t the best, but it was worth the price. You get what you pay for. Phuket, and Thailand overall, is getting more and more expensive.

A spacious deluxe room, with an in-room safe and medium-sized fridge. Housekeeping came daily, Wi-Fi was good, and the staff were polite. It’s central and fairly priced for Patong. Parking a two-wheeler was easy, though street parking for a car was a bit of a challenge. Note there’s no elevator for the upper stairs.
