We arrived late to a place that was just dirty and smelled strongly of mold and damp. Water sits in the shower because it doesn't drain properly. During our six days there, I never saw the cleaning staff use a mop or disinfectant, only a broom. We disinfected the bathroom ourselves, and that was fine. The sheets had stains on them. They were washed and dried on a closed terrace, leaving the whole ground floor smelling damp all the time. If they opened the terrace, the sheets might dry faster, and the UV would disinfect them too. Just no, avoid it. I can't figure out how this place got an 8.4 on trip.com.

It was a horrible experience, and I wouldn't go there. When I arrived, I found the AC wasn't working and contacted the owner. He said, “What can I do if the AC isn't working, should I install a new AC for you, if you don't like and cannot adjust you leave.” I had paid for the room, so why should I have to adjust? Later he threatened to make us leave immediately and said he'd throw our things outside. As a woman, I felt very unsafe. He seemed mental by head and told us he'd make our stay miserable if we remained there. I lost a whole day trying to find another place, then had to pay double. I booked through agoda, but they gave no additional compensation and were very non co-operative.

I paid in advance for a booking through agoda, but when I arrived they said they had no booking for me. The location felt creepy. Please DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, it’s a scam.

Rooms were clean and spacious, with daily service, and there's a friendly owner. Restaurants and shops are right downstairs. It's reasonably priced and comfortable, close enough to the beach and nightlife but without the noise. The only drawback is there's no lift, so you have to walk up the stairs.

It's a good hotel in a good location, quiet compared with other hotels. The mattress was a bit too hard for my liking, but overall it was good.
