The building felt dated and run down, and people were smoking right by the entrance. That added to an already frustrating stay. Our online rescheduled booking had been clearly confirmed, but when we arrived they refused to accommodate us and left us with nowhere to go. Staff were rude, arrogant, and dismissive. No help, apology, or goodwill was offered. I was shocked by how unprofessional it was. A booking change confirmed online should be something guests can count on, but that wasn't true here. I’d urge other travelers to be careful about booking.

The staff were so patient and friendly. On my last day, a drunk man argued with one of them, but they managed to sort things out, and she even suggested some local food. My dorm stay was three nights and cost just S$28, which felt like great value for a comfortable, convenient place on a budget. The room was roomy and clean, with a good shower, strong pressure, and plenty of hot water. It was quiet at night, too. The beach is about 1.5 km away, with a 7/11 around the corner, plus nearby tuk-tuks and bike rentals.
