The Senses Pool Villas

The staff made my three-night stay at The Senses Resort wonderful. Onnicha, Pang at reception, Oil the manager, Pat the tour guide, Hasan, James, and the others were all warm, kind, and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. As a first-time solo traveller in Thailand, I felt safe and happy. My Deluxe Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The food was good, and I especially liked the burger. Highly recommend this resort for its hospitality. I stayed from Sep 30 to Oct 3, 2025.

The view of Patong from our spotless, modern room was incredible, especially at night. Check-in was friendly and smooth, and they offered us a welcome drink. The quiet, beautiful pool was a lovely place to unwind after the busy streets below. Breakfast had a wide range of delicious options, and the staff remembered little things like our coffee preferences and checked that everything was right. Housekeeping did an excellent job, and everyone we met, from reception and the restaurant to the shuttle driver, was polite, kind, and happy to help. The warm hospitality at The Senses Resort made us feel like family. We can't wait to return, and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Patong.

Breakfast was one of the highlights at The Senses Resort & Pool Villas. We only ate there in the mornings because we spent most of our days exploring, but the buffet had a huge, high-quality range of Western and Thai food. It was an exceptional start to each day. Our Suit Bedroom was very comfortable, with a jacuzzi inside and a king-size bed that gave us a great night's sleep. Service felt warm and professional from check-in through checkout. The resort is modern and on Nanai Road in Patong, a short walk from Patong Beach and Banzaan Fresh Market, with shops, restaurants, and nightlife nearby. For the room, location, service, and breakfast, it felt like a flawless 5-star choice. I'd highly recommend it and stay again.

The only staff member who gave us a decent experience was Pom near reception. Pom was kind to my daughter and professional. The building looks nice in photos, but that didn't make up for feeling anxious and targeted through the trip. We spent the rest of our stay worrying about what accusation or problem might come next. At check-in, the hotel argued with us for more than three hours over our child, even though our Agoda booking included her and we had confirmation and screenshots to prove it. Staff kept telling us to talk to Agoda and passing responsibility around. Arriving with a child and being kept waiting like that was mentally stressful. Breakfast was another letdown, with very few vegetarian options, repetitive food, and quality well below what the hotel claims. The worst incident was a staff member accusing us of breaking a glass cup that already had an old visible crack and dark marks. It looked damaged before we arrived. It felt like an attempt to charge guests for something already broken. I recorded a video right away and confronted reception, warning I'd involve the police if this continued. After all the accusations and pressure, they backed off and said we didn't need to pay. I later read reviews describing similar complaints about extra charges, missing items, towel disputes, and suspicious staff behavior. We also saw another couple having trouble over luggage they'd left in the lobby. The whole place felt untrustworthy and unsafe. If management doesn't know about this, it should seriously investigate front desk and housekeeping. From a guest's point of view, these incidents don't look isolated, they look systematic. I rarely write harsh reviews, but people spending hard-earned money should know what this was like. Avoid The Senses Resort & Pool Villas if you want a peaceful, trustworthy holiday.
