We ate here twice during our stay in Patong, with four of us traveling, in the first week of June 2026. After the first dinner, one of us got quite sick within an hour of eating chicken pad see ew. Still, we decided to give it another try on night four. We ordered two Chang beers and two cocktails. One beer was completely flat, so we asked for a replacement. The man who seemed to be the Manager pretended to replace it, but it came back just as flat, and we noticed a chip on the top. We don’t think he swapped it at all. When we said we wouldn’t drink flat beer, he wouldn’t acknowledge the problem and made out we were being unreasonable. We paid for our drinks and left, but he tried to charge us for the beer we hadn’t drunk. I’ve included the receipt as proof of this experience. We went up the road to the Saveoy, where the food, drinks, and service were impeccable. Tropica could learn a lot from Saveoy staff about how to treat customers when they’re served an inferior product. One star is too much, this should be zero.

I planned on three nights, then added two more because I enjoyed the stay so much. The hotel is right by the beach, across the street, and also close to Bangla Road. It can get lively and sometimes noisy, though this is clearly stated before booking, so I don’t understand why people complain about it. The pool area was a great place to relax, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and a good size. Everything felt considered and worked smoothly. Breakfast was very good, with enough variety to change things up each morning. I’d definitely recommend it. Great location and atmosphere, and it met and even exceeded my expectations.

We booked a shared room with three beds for three people, according to the price offered. The beach and Patong street area are very close, though the night market is a bit farther away. There’s some nightclub music disturbance at night. Pool access ends at 7:00 pm Thai time, after which it’s cleaned, and starts again at 8:00 am. The reception service was good at check-in and check-out, and booking through agoda operator was easy. Cleaning staff were helpful and did a good job. There are halal restaurants and stalls nearby, or a 4-5 minute trip from the hotel. The area also has a 7-Eleven, mini market, massage center, and other shops. I highly recommend this for singles, couples, or small groups. Room: 4.0, could improve the bathroom sliding door lock. Service: 4.0. Location: 5.0. Internet: 5.0.

The night sound from Bangla street is mentioned in several reviews, and seems to be the main reason some guests leave bad reviews. We found it very bearable, and it even added a nice vibe. We got used to the hum quickly and started enjoying it. But if you need complete quiet to sleep, this isn’t the place, because it never gets fully quiet at night. It’s a lovely little green getaway right in the middle of Patong nightlife. The hotel grounds are incredibly peaceful during the day, and relaxing around the pool. You can cross the street to swim at Patong beach, then come back to lounge by the pool. The staff were so nice, the rooms beautiful and comfortable, and breakfast was amazing. If we come to Phuket again, I’d love to stay here.
