Nine Blue Residence

There’s a common kitchen where you can order Indian food, either delivered to your room or served as a dine-in meal. The staff are friendly, and there’s plenty of parking for both cars and two-wheelers. Walking street and teprasit night market are nearby, where you can get things at affordable prices. It’s a lovely place to stay with a good atmosphere. I’m writing this from the bottom of my heart, a must visit.

I stayed from 16th to 18th March. The room was smaller and dirtier than the pictures, and it was so dark that it felt a little creepy. There were used condom packets behind the bed, so the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. At checkout, staff took 100 baht from my deposit, saying the towel was dirty. We had used it, but I don’t believe we would have used a dirty towel without checking first. Staff also didn’t understand English. Worst stay in Thailand, I wouldn’t recommend it.

For what I paid, it was okay. The room had a bit of a smell, and the bed wasn’t as comfortable as I expected. Front desk staff were great, though I didn’t see the other staff around much. It’s tucked into a narrow soi that only fits one car at a time, and I had trouble finding it at first.

The rooms are spacious, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the design is smart throughout. After years of average hotels and guesthouses, I was glad to find this hidden spot in the heart of Khopai. The Wi-Fi is outdated and the pool is small for the rest of the place, but the staff are truly top-notch, which makes up for a lot. Highly recommend.
