Pf Resort

I stayed at PF resort about two years ago and had a good experience then. The rooms were spacious and nice, and the owner was kind and cared about customers. I moved back in a month ago, but ownership and staff had changed. The rooms are still roomy, though the mattresses are now in poor shape. The building is old and smells musty. The bigger issue is how some of the new staff treat customers. At least three gave us bad looks, spoke impolitely, and talked loudly in Thai behind our backs. I've lived here for over seven years and could understand them. One person even tried to enter my room without permission. They also tried to charge me for leaving my keycard in the room. The owner changed in February, so older reviews from before that may not mean much given the changed, xenophobic atmosphere. There’s still plenty of local food, but in my opinion the quality has gone downhill and prices are high. Garbage in the street smells bad, and the main road has too much traffic and exhaust. A 7 11 and dry cleaner are very close. Monthly rent is 7000-8000, excluding water, electricity, and household costs. I've never given a hotel, apartment, or resort one star before, but the staff have created a toxic atmosphere, in my opinion. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
