The air-conditioned room is clean and has a good atmosphere, and the servers speak English. Prices are high compared with other places, and it's cash only. There's no rice, but the pizza is a healthier version, and the bacon-wrapped meatloaf was delicious. The steak comes with peppers and onion. The owner is another former New Yorker from Hicksville and a Yankee fan. My take on the name Richman Poorman is that you arrive rich and leave poor 🤣. A good place to watch sports. 555

If you like hickory-smoked meat, this place is great. The ribs are tender and juicy with a strong, lovely smoky flavor. A small team of women in the kitchen prepares the sides fresh in front of you and often chats with customers. They put your name on a tag attached to the bill holder, so everyone who talks to you knows who you are. That's nice if you enjoy that kind of friendly attention.

Cross the street and you're at the beach, which makes the location really convenient. My room was comfortable, clean, and bright, with a balcony overlooking the ocean. There was plenty of cabinet space, air conditioning, and an extra sink with a big mirror outside the bathroom. In my opinion, it's the best value for the money.

The rooms are clean but old and basic, though they're cheap if you're on a budget. It's only steps from the beach. I'm giving it three stars because of the restaurant, which had very good American food. Try the smoked ribs with some lemonade. Update: it's closed now and there's a new restaurant there. I don't know anything about it yet.
