SaroRach Pool Villa Resort Kohlarn

We had a great time in this quiet, secluded resort. It has private rooms and a small swimming pool, and a wonderful front desk attendant picked us up from the pier after we called. Breakfast was generous, with a huge satisfying variety, and definitely beat a buffet. Since the resort is near the forest, expect insects. There was also a slight smell in the bathroom. The water on Koh Larn seems to be desalinated, but still has some salt in it, so our hair and skin felt a little off after showering. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was the highlight and went beyond what I expected. The staff were incredibly friendly, and we rented a motorcycle through the host, which was very easy and convenient. I stayed four nights at this new, quiet hotel and was impressed. The private pool was a peaceful escape, especially in the hot weather, and the welcome drinks were a nice touch.

The villa was really cute, with a small pool, and everything was decorated in a Pinterest-like style, with photo spots all around. They provided useful things like a beach bag, umbrella, and sandals, and Netflix was already logged in for relaxing at night. Breakfast came floating in the pool, with plenty of tasty food for two. There were lots of mosquitoes in the room, though, and I had to kill them because they bit me at night. I stayed in early June. The shuttle from the pier and a free motorbike with a full tank were provided. I checked in around 1 p.m., but the room wasn’t ready, so I took the bike to explore the island while I waited. It’s an interesting option if you want somewhere quiet not far from the pier.

The staff were perfect, and the included breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, an easy 10/10. My girlfriend, who’s now my wife, and I stayed two nights and honestly had the best time of anywhere in Thailand. I definitely recommend it.
