T2 Jomtien Pattaya

The staff were friendly and always happy to help, and everything felt new and well maintained. Wi-Fi was fast, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bright, clean room had a really comfortable bed. T2 Hotel Pattaya has a modern, stylish look and is close to restaurants and shopping, with the beach only a short ride away. Great value. I’d recommend it.

In the morning, the water suddenly stopped, so we couldn’t shower or even brush our teeth. The receptionist tried to help by offering a ground-floor room, but that one had no water either. The night before, another tourist opened our door with their key while we were sleeping. It was shocking and frightening, and left us worried about how someone else’s key could open our room. The hotel was old and dirty, though we thought one night would be manageable. Staff were friendly, but the stay wasn’t worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I expected more after reading the reviews on Google, TripAdvisor, and Agoga. My stay at the T2 room was extremely disappointing. It doesn’t live up to its advertised 3-star rating and felt more like a 1-star place. The room had a strong, unpleasant pipe odor from the moment I walked in. The towels were old and torn, the TV picture was fuzzy and maintenance couldn’t fix it, and the refrigerator was broken for my entire stay. I raised these problems with several staff members, but management was unresponsive and unwilling to resolve them. The hotel seems poorly maintained and lacking in customer care. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, especially with the misleading 3-star advertising.

At around $25-30 USD, this might have been a decent stay, but the sewage smell from the room’s sewer system was horrendous. I woke up smelling it throughout the night. I saw that the price sometimes goes above $50 USD in high season if you book in person. I wouldn’t pay that.
