The bungalow and pool were nice, and the host can help arrange the tours you want. But it’s quite pricey, cash only, and breakfast isn’t included. Even cheap youth hostels give you a simple breakfast at this price. It’s a shame, since the owner’s wife owns the restaurant there. It feels like making more money matters more than showing hospitality to guests.

We were there just one night. The room was clean, and the shower worked great with a good flow of water. Most of all, the owner P'Didi was sweet, sociable and really helpful. Definitely worth a stay if you’re in the area.

We were sorry we’d only booked two days and wished we could have stayed longer. Klaus was very thorough when we arrived and helped sort out our national park plans and airport transfer. It was a pleasure meeting Dee Dee too. Don’t skip dinner at the restaurant, everything she cooks is homemade, and she grows all the vegetables herself. Her massaman and Panag curry were 10/10. She took time to show me her homegrown plants and cut up some pineapple for my partner and me to try. She’s admirable and takes real pride in her home and cooking. Klaus and DeeDee are a lovely couple who made our stay such a pleasure. The bungalow was beautiful, with a comfortable bed, a good-sized room and lovely towel decorations each day. Best place to stay in Khao Sok.

I didn’t like him opening the door in the morning while we were asleep 😅😅. It was very bad behavior. The lady was nice, but he wasn’t friendly at all. The place itself is good, though basic. Don’t expect much from such a small village.
