The Bird Nest Homestay Coffee Shop

A nice place to relax away from overwhelmed Bangkok, surrounded by birds. The café is good, the bedding is comfortable, and breakfast can be adapted. Bicycles and motorbikes are available, and you can chat with Oz, the café owner.

I was lucky enough to have this lovely place to myself for two days, and it was pure bliss. The calm grounds are full of local and rare plants, with birds singing and frogs calling all around. Oz is a thoughtful host who cares about guests' comfort and well-being. He drove me to a nearby bicycle rental shop and happily shared what he knew about the island. My bed was comfortable and the shower had strong water pressure. I also forgot breakfast was included, so the rice, chicken, and soup were a welcome surprise. I'd happily return to The Bird Nest for the nature and hospitality instead of spending time in the big city.

It felt as local as it gets, and the host was so kind. He cooked for us, made us feel at home, and even drove me around. One of the best places I've stayed, and he was the best person ever.
