Boomerang Inn

The owners treated us like family, which made the stay feel special. The rooms were a good size, clean and tidy, with cold A/C, a fridge, comfortable beds and a balcony looking either onto the street or a traditional-style Thai courtyard. It was easy to walk to the beach or Bangla Road. For the price, you won't find better in the top end.

I liked that Boomerang Inn is on a quieter side street, though still close enough to walk to Bangla Road. It’s a good fit if, like me, you want basics, an easy location and no bling. My room had a balcony, fridge, good A/C and enough space, and the bed was comfortable for my fussy back. It was two blocks from the beach and the price was very reasonable. Lek is a warm, homey host, like staying with family, only more casual and less in your face. The first room they gave us faced the inner courtyard, had a gloomy view and failed my video-call internet speed test. They let us check the internet in other rooms and move to a street-facing one, which had a livelier view. Across the street there was a very reasonably priced massage place, a cannabis shop and a cat cafe. Mood Cafe, down the block and attached to the Holiday Inn, also sorted my craving for coffee like I get in San Francisco. There are fancier hotels farther down the block, and you can see gentrification happening. I hope Boomerang Inn stays an old-school holdout as things change. One thing to know: there’s no longer a functioning pool.

The staff at Boomerang inn treated guests with respect, and I liked that. The hotel was cozy and very nice, with clean rooms. The beach was three minutes away and Bangla was no more than ten. Breakfast and laundry were available at the hotel. I couldn't find better quality for this price in patong. Thanks to the team, keep it up 😀🙌🤝

The staff were lovely, and the room was great: spacious, very clean every day, with a good TV, A/C, a small fridge and a balcony. It’s three minutes from the beach. There’s a pool and food service, and the food was delicious. A massage place right across from the hotel charged $7-10. The nightly rate was reasonable, and they brought a small bottle of water each day. For me, it was just perfect and I couldn't ask for a better place. Definitely recommend 💯% 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟✓
