Those two women at reception were amazing, and the service was fabulous. I’d take them home! The room was great too, close to everything but about a mile from the noise. Honestly, I can’t think of anything bad to say 😀 😉 😊 😄 😅

Getting into Old Phuket Town was very easy, though going elsewhere was tough without an international driving licence and the ability to rent a scooter. The service was perfect, and the hotel seemed very clean. Our room was nice for a budget place near Old Phuket Town, but water dripped from the toilet and bath. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, and the wall wasn’t good to sit against. We also found the pillows a bit too big.

The old traditional building looks lovely, with beautiful decor, and it’s conveniently close to the centre of Phuket town. I stayed for New Year’s night, and the price for that period was pretty affordable. My room was spacious, though a little dim, and the bathroom was a decent size. The bed was comfortable, and it stayed quiet enough to sleep well, even on New Year’s night. There’s a shared kitchen with free tea and coffee, a microwave, and a fridge, but no cooker. Receptionist Bee was friendly and attentive, always smiling and ready to help.

You get a fair price for a single room near puket old town, and the room itself was fine, with nice vintage cultural decor. There’s no elevator. The bigger problem for me was reception: nobody was there when I arrived, so I waited outside for 20 minutes. Later, when I had an issue, the desk was empty again, and nobody was there when I checked out in the morning. If service doesn’t matter to you, it’s worth the price.
