Cocoon APK Resort & Spa

The Wi-Fi was good, but that's honestly the only positive I can mention. We walked into the deluxe room and were hit by a horrendous urine smell. It seemed like the room hadn't been cleaned in ages.

The towels and bedsheets were extremely dirty, and the room smelled really strange. It looked very different from the photos on Maps. Late at night, hotel staff were making loud noises as they fought with each other right outside our room. It made us feel threatened. Extremely disappointing.

We left the room immediately because the hygiene and lack of upkeep were unacceptable. It was dirty, with mold everywhere. The property was run down and barely resembled the pictures, though the adjusted price alone wouldn't have been an issue. The woman at check-in returned our deposit and told us to request the money from the site we booked through. We did that straight away. After a few days of the booking site trying to reach the hotel and some back and forth, we received a full refund.

The staff were really friendly and professional, especially RAHUL. My first visit to Phuket has been absolutely amazing. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, and there were plenty of tasty choices at breakfast. I'll definitely come back, and I'd highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area.
