There's plenty around the hotel, including massage places, restaurants, shops, and pubs. It's close to the sea, with nice food and menu options at the hotel, and the workers are very friendly and helpful. If you're thinking of booking here, don't hesitate. Just remember traffic drives on the left, so take care crossing the road in front of the hotel on your way to the beach.

A pretty good option for a three-star hotel. Compared with my visit nine months ago, room service has improved and breakfast is unchanged. I took off one star because the food court seating has moved from the beach view to an inside area of the hotel.

The hotel is right on the beach, with excellent staff and a great location. We were a family of four from Pakistan, two adults and two children, and got great prices for two rooms. Kata night market is about a 15-minute walk away. We had booked interconnecting rooms but were given adjacent rooms instead. We should have called ahead to check, so I can't blame them. The staff apologized profusely and gave us a fruit basket and card to make up for it. We made the adjacent rooms work.

I kept extending my stay because this place worked so well for my budget, especially for a longer visit. It was better than most American hotels costing three or four times as much. The staff are friendly, and the tour planner was extremely helpful. Breakfast was good, the pools are nice, and one has a pool bar. The hotel is right by the beach, and they provide a towel and beach mat. They can hold your key, and for only $3 US you can get a shaded beach seat where they watch your bags. There are massage places everywhere and great food around. It's still bustling, but quieter than places like Patong, which I appreciated. And go Ants! Xoxo ~Skyler
