DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort

Mr Chacha Fon was friendly and attentive, and made us feel welcome right away. The relaxed atmosphere had a lovely Thai touch. We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant in Phuket: the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with each dish balanced and made from high-quality ingredients. I’d highly recommend it for authentic Thai food or just a good dinner out. We’ll definitely come back on our next visit!

We loved our time at DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort and only wish we could have stayed longer. Its position directly across from Patong Beach, slightly set back from the road, made it easy to get around without being overwhelmed by crowd noise. Food and shops are right outside, and Bangla Road is an easy walk for nightlife. The grounds are beautiful, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were attentive and truly wonderful. We were upgraded to a pool-facing room, which we appreciated. It hadn’t been renovated yet, but we were told work was planned within the next six months. The room was still comfortable, and the beautiful flooring was a nice touch. Location really is key, and this resort delivered.

Joy, the reservations manager, helped turn a date mix-up into a great stay. My travel agency had booked the wrong dates, and I called Double Tree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort months ahead. Joy patiently worked through the change even when the travel agent made it seem impossible. I called many times for updates, including after she said she’d call me, and she always helped with a smile I could hear over the phone. When we arrived, we were greeted by Mike Dang and Phi, who smiled, took our bags without hesitation, stored them while we checked in, then brought them to the room. Joy greeted us in person with that same smile. We were several hours early, but she arranged for one room to be ready until the other became available, so we didn’t have to wait in the lobby. She also extended checkout for one room because our return flight was well after checkout. I was there for my birthday, and Joy and other staff marked it with a card and a sweet treat, which was thoughtful. Everyone, from housekeeping to security, greeted us warmly and helped as best they could. The rooms were nice and clean, and staff kept them that way throughout our stay. The pools were beautiful, and the hotel is within walking distance of the beach, daytime attractions, and nightlife. The food was amazing, especially breakfast. Visit Mona at the egg station: she’ll make eggs just the way you like them, and they’re delicious. After working out in the onsite gym, I had an omelet, fried eggs, or scrambled eggs every morning. I stayed February 13-24, 2026, and will definitely return. I recommend the resort if you’re planning a trip to Phuket Thailand.

The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel felt safe. It was easy to relax here. The staff were so kind and helpful, especially Fon, one of the waiters. She was sweet and kept checking that everything was okay, which made the stay feel even nicer. I’d definitely come back!! 🫶💕
