Fulfill Phuket Hostel

We checked out less than an hour after arriving, and couldn't get a refund. We got to the hotel late after a long travel day, and the staff member was rude and seemed not to care. Our first room smelled strongly of faeces and urine, was generally unclean, and had a rock-hard bed. We politely asked to move, and were taken to the fourth floor, but the second room was dirty too, with blood stains on the bed and bed bugs. At reception, we were told a refund wasn't possible. The staff member still seemed unbothered and only quietly said “sorry,” looking more embarrassed. We want our money back too. Avoid at all costs! 😡😡

The private room had what I needed, and the staff were polite and professional. But I found a tiny bug, like a little cockroach, in the bed under the sheets. I spent the whole night tossing and turning, wondering if there were more. Luckily, I was only there for one night. We also ran out of toilet paper late at night because there was just one small roll and no spare. Maybe leave an extra in each room.

The staff were helpful and attentive, and the rooms have comfortable beds, lockers attached to each bed, and curtains that give good privacy. Bathrooms were very clean. The location is convenient, right by Phuket Old Town, with bars and restaurants nearby, the songthaew stand close by, and both the Sunday night market and a 7/11 within walking distance, about 10 minutes for the store. There isn't an elevator, which could be difficult for some people, and the smoking area isn't in a very convenient spot.

A safe, clean place in the middle of the old town, so restaurants, bars, and attractions are easy to get to. Toilets and showers are always clean, the rooms are clean too, and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended.
