Go Inn Phuket Old Town

The room was old, poorly maintained, and far from what the Agoda photos showed. The pictures were very misleading, and the actual condition was unacceptable. The stained, dirty sheets and pillowcases, plus visible marks and damage on the walls and ceiling, made the cleanliness especially concerning. When we raised it, the maid was rude and unprofessional. There was no apology, proper solution, or concern for guests. Agoda should verify the hotel photos because what’s advertised is not what guests receive. It feels like false advertising. I strongly don’t recommend this hotel and will never return. Worst stay ever.

There was no reception, and we were meant to get a QR code to enter, but it never arrived. Calls went unanswered, and when someone eventually replied on WhatsApp, they didn’t say when they’d come to help. They assigned us room 404, which was completely wrong. Its door was unlocked, so we walked into someone else’s room with all their things inside. Once we finally got into the correct room, it smelled of cigarettes. The shower was dirty, hair was all over the sink, and paint was peeling off the walls. There were also people having sex so loudly the whole building could hear them, though that part wasn’t the company’s fault. This place is a complete joke. Don’t stay here.

Worst room ever. The linens smelled of other people’s body odor and had gray stains all over. I found three hairs on the bed, and ants even got onto it. The cup was dirty and the water pressure was weak. Don’t choose this place.

We were in Phuket for two nights, and if we’d booked for longer, we would have gone somewhere else. We never received the self check in code, and the owner didn’t answer the phone and was slow to reply on WhatsApp. The air conditioning needed repair while the maid was offsite. The room looked nothing like the photos. The beds were so firm you could feel every spring, and the pillows were lumpy and seemed years old. There was old garbage under the bed. The bathroom was dirty and full of black mold, the toiletries hadn’t been restocked and there was barely anything to use, and the supplied towels were stained and dirty. When we came back the second day, our QR code had stopped working and we couldn’t get in. We’re backpackers and have stayed in plenty of less-than-great places, but this was by far the worst. It wasn’t worth what we paid. We’d never stay again or recommend it to anyone.
