The quiet setting at the edge of the beach suited me, while the center was still an easy walk away. There’s a shuttle, but we didn’t need it. The incline was manageable, and walking gave us a bit of exercise. Most guests seemed to be European, and the atmosphere felt peaceful. As an ** Gold member, I felt valued from arrival at **Novotel Phuket Resort**. I was pleased to get an upgrade to a higher room category, which made the stay more comfortable. Staff were always smiling and ready to help, and I’m especially grateful to the hotel managers for making the vacation memorable. The daily snack hour for status members was a lovely surprise. The snacks were delicious, and the service was kind and attentive. I enjoyed my time and will come back. A calm retreat with professional service.

The General Manager came over while we were sitting near reception, introduced himself, and said he was concerned about my mother’s comfort because not all areas were wheelchair accessible. I explained that she was very uncomfortable, and that we’d already asked for an upgrade at any price. He said he’d try, though he couldn’t promise anything. That evening they upgraded both rooms for free to help us have a happy vacation. At first we were upset. Many parts of the hotel weren’t accessible by wheelchair, and the room we had initially wasn’t convenient for my mother. She had to use the in-house shuttle and repeatedly get in and out of the car. Even going to breakfast was uncomfortable. The staff were very helpful and always smiling, and breakfast had a fantastic range of choices. My one small suggestion is to keep the kids’ room open for around 12 hours or even 24 hours. At another hotel, children could use the playroom around the clock with their room card. Thank you, we truly enjoyed the stay and highly recommend this hotel.

The peaceful green surroundings and beautiful scenery made this a relaxing family getaway. We stayed with our infant and five-year-old, and the location was convenient as well as scenic. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and well looked after, with prompt housekeeping keeping everything tidy throughout. Both kids and adults enjoyed the clean, maintained pool, and the dedicated play area kept the little ones busy. The massage treatments were wonderfully relaxing, too. Highly recommended for families wanting a comfortable, enjoyable break.

We had a good two-night family stay, with a fantastic view and plenty of facilities. The property sits a little away from the main attractions and central areas, and our room had a faint musty smell at first. Some paths and steps to rooms had standing water and got slippery. The pools close at 7 PM, so we never got to use one after sightseeing; it would help if at least one stayed open later. The children’s play area shuts at 4 PM, also early for families returning from tours. The grand check-in lobby was one of the best I’ve seen, with lion statues, a high Thai-style ceiling and a lovely view over Patong Beach. Patong Beach is just across from the property, and a 7-Eleven is nearby. The hotel is on a hill, but a free buggy or shuttle runs from the gate to reception. There’s also a free shuttle to Jungceylon Shopping Centre, though book early because seats fill up. Our room was neatly kept, with stocked amenities, an iron and board, extra cushions, and a small sea-view balcony. The bed was very wide and comfortable, with an extra single bed for our child. AC cooled well, and the sheets and towels were clean. Phone requests got a quick, helpful response. The bathroom was clean, had good hot and cold water, and had plenty of shower gel, shampoo and other supplies. Room service was reasonably priced and arrived promptly. There are three pools, open from 7 AM to 7 PM, plus comfortable sofas in the lobby waiting area, an in-house massage center, a tour booking desk and a shuttle booking counter. Staff were courteous and polite throughout. Breakfast had a very good spread and a nice view: Indian, Chinese, English and Thai dishes, plus breads, juice, cut fruit, yogurt, Thai tea, coffee and even a chocolate fountain. The hotel charges a 1000 THB security deposit per night. Cards and Thai Baht cash are accepted, including for room service. A good stay with nice hospitality, lovely views and useful facilities. A few schedule and maintenance changes would make it even better for families and tourists.
