Urban Patong Residence

May was especially kind and obliging, and helped me feel at home. The whole team was great, and the service covered everything I needed. Urban Patong residence was one of my favorite places to stay during my time in Phuket. Prices were really good too, so I'd definitely recommend it.

The room had pleasant, bright lighting, and the clean towels and bed linen were a plus. There are also cute cats on the first floor, and having a washer and dryer in the lobby was handy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Still, the place needs attention. The furniture was worn, the curtains had big holes, the floor wasn't very clean, and the cups were dirty. The room smelled a little musty. The street outside is busy and noisy, especially at night. Some AC remote buttons didn't work, so I couldn't adjust the temperature and the room got very cold.

Our room wasn't cleaned for three days, the hotel was dirty, and the road facing balconies made it really noisy. The service and cleanliness were both zero for me, and I found the staff racist and rude. I left my Yeezy sneakers, worth around 300$, on the balcony. When I called nine days later, they asked why I was only calling then and were extremely rude. They didn't say they didn't have them or offer to check lost and found, which is supposed to keep items found after checkout in case a customer comes back. Instead they told me to call the police and asked why I'd left expensive shoes at the hotel. They also made racist comments about Spanish, Moroccans, Tunisians and Algerians, saying we're bad people and scammers, and accused me of wanting insurance. I just wanted my shoes back. I've visited Thailand for five years and never felt robbed before. I've usually had great service here. These people shouldn't own or work in a hotel. Customer service 0, safety 0, cleanliness 0, racism and scamming 100%.

We only ended up here because the city had no availability elsewhere, and I couldn't sleep for even a minute. There was no hot water, and there were birds' nests on the balcony. When we tried to complain, they screamed at us. One receptionist had an awful attitude and gave me the worst service I've experienced. The worst hotel stay of my life. Don't waste your time or money here.
