Patong Platinums

The location is excellent, close to the Big C shopping center. The hotel is old, and the room hasn’t been fully updated. There are lots of mosquitoes in the rooms, so it’s a good idea to tell reception and ask them to spray insecticide.

The location is superb, but the room disappointed me. It was small and didn’t feel cozy, especially for the 5k I paid.

The reception boy was very rude and told us to get out. The room was dirty, including the towels and bed sheets, and the AC remote didn’t work. We were on the 8th floor, and when the lift stopped working, we had to carry our luggage down the stairs. Please don’t stay here.

What I’ll remember most about Patong Platinums Hotel is how cared for and valued I felt. I’ve traveled a lot, but very few places have made me feel so seen. The team gave me a real sense of calm, safety, and dignity that stayed with me after leaving. From reception’s warm smiles to the care they put into the rest of the hotel, everyone went well beyond ordinary service. This feels like a place built around genuine kindness and human connection, as well as comfort. I’m deeply grateful for what the team did for me, and I’ll always remember it. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
