Pariya Green Place

The condo sits in a secluded, green part of town, and the location has some charm. But it feels neglected and unhealthy now, with pollution, traffic, broken facilities, pesticide fogging, and constant construction. It could be a much better place if management gave more attention to health, safety, and sustainability. Getting around is difficult without a car or motorbike. The condo is at the base of Khao Rang, connected to the mall and shopping area by a steep, narrow, winding road where drivers go fast. It doesn’t feel safe to walk or bike there. Parking has also become a mess: there are about 160 units per building but only 100 underground spaces. Since 2024, larger SUVs and trucks have been taking up extra room, making it hard to open a car door beside them. Cars now line both sides of the driveway, which used to be quiet and nature-oriented, and the place feels like a parking lot. The gym and pool have been out of order for months with no repair date from management. The nearest gym is 2 km away. There’s also monthly pesticide fogging for mosquitoes and termites. If the balcony door is open, the white chemical smoke gets into the room and can make you nauseous. Laundry left outside needs to be washed again. Ongoing renovations leave fine dust from drywall and other building materials in the rooms. That kind of particulate matter can be harmful to your lungs.

The place was spotless, and the internet was fast and reliable for getting work done. My host was attentive and ready to help. It’s also in a convenient spot near major attractions and public transport. I enjoyed the stay more than I expected and would recommend it.

These apartments are in Old Phuket Town, in a peaceful, green setting 🍀. Great location if you need to be in Phuket city.
