There’s a steep set of stairs to get to the lift and another set to reach your room, which is the one problem with this place. Otherwise, it’s beautiful and peaceful by the river, with plenty of parking. The room was well equipped, clean, and nice, with lots of sockets and a refrigerator at a comfortable height. The staff were friendly and the Thai food was delicious.

We had a terrific river view, with mountains in the distance, and the hotel was peaceful at night. It’s near the river, the city, and shops, and we could sit outside in the evening with a beer or glass of wine. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfy bed, air-con, fridge, microwave, and tea and coffee making facilities. Staff were excellent and thorough when checking vaccination documents and temperature. The wifi wasn’t the best, which is a small issue since most people have mobile data. Breakfast is a basic buffet suited to both foreign and Thai guests, but it fills you up.

The river view from the room was amazing, with lovely nature all around and a calm, pleasurable feel. As an Indian, I found the food mostly sweet and not as spicy as what we get in India, though it’s a chance to try new dishes. Vegetarian options are very limited, so plan for that before coming.

If you like a quiet, private stay with your companions and have everything you need in your bag, this could suit you. The hotel sits by the river, with several good spots for photos, and the setting inside and around it feels private. The room is decent for the price, but you should bring what you need before arriving. It’s a long alley with lots of turns, set away from Rayong’s main road, and the GPS directions can be unclear, so take care not to miss a turn. If you’re hungry or looking for entertainment, you’ll have to go some distance. Older guests should know there’s a stair to climb to reach the elevator between the two levels, and another similar step when going down. Breakfast depends on your preference. The management’s approachable manner makes the place feel friendly and familiar.
