The hotel sits by the river Kwai and has three levels, so guests with mobility issues may be limited to the upper part of the property. There's ample parking, and transport to local attractions is available if you prefer arranging it. Staff were lovely and helpful, the rooms spotless, and the grounds well cared for. Our room was A2, a quiet, well-maintained room with plenty of space and a river view. The hotel has a small pool looking out over the water, and a couple of times each day you can see elephants from the sanctuary bathing across the river. I'd stay again and recommend it.

The staff are great, the food is good, and the rooms are clean. Its location makes it easy to get to most tourist attractions, but having your own transport is a must.

We stayed in villa 2B, the lower of two large rooms overlooking the river. It was a very nice, well-equipped space, with plenty of chairs, tables, and the usual mod cons. The balcony had a wonderful view of the river and elephant park, and you can regularly spot elephants across the water. Comfortable balcony chairs would have made it perfect. The bungalows are set in an attractive garden. There's a small pool on a large decked patio, but unfortunately no loungers or umbrellas. Breakfast and restaurant meals were excellent, and the staff were really helpful.
