We would have stayed longer than one night. For 400 thb the room was clean and nice, and the staff were great. But the old, noisy AC kept us awake. Turning it off made the room too hot, so unfortunately I can't recommend staying until they replace the AC.

The staff are lovely and helpful, and if you just need somewhere to crash while passing through, this could do for a night. Still, the place is very old and dated, and with a name like grand palace it needs repairs, even a basic brightening up. There was thick dust on spots that could easily be cleaned. I could add photos, but it wouldn't be fair. Check the rooms first to see if they suit you. There are plenty of modern, high end hotels here to choose from.

I was pleasantly surprised for a provincial Thai hotel. The bed was great, it was clean, and the air con was quiet. The facilities were good too. What more could you want?

It’s a very nice hotel, though I found better hotels in my price range.

Very bad hotel. Everything is old and broken, and it’s expensive.
