The Victoria Resort

The room was so dusty that I felt itchy after sleeping there. I understand the price is low, but it still needs to be cleaner. There also wasn't a reception area for checking in, the shower pressure was weak, the bidet spray was broken, and the kettle was old, peeling, and basically unusable. A lot needs fixing.

The room I was given was excellent and the hotel is not far from Pattaya Beach, though you really need to check each room individually. Mine had some dust, and the air conditioning wasn't working. Still, it was a very nice room overall.

Can someone advise me on getting a refund? I booked a hotel without looking at the reviews, then canceled after I read them, but the refund still hasn't come through. I've called the hotel's number several times and nobody answers. The number only has 9 digits. The app asks for an email address, but no matter how many times I try, I can't enter it. I've tried everything I can think of. Has anyone else had this problem, and what should I do?

It was very quiet, with hardly any guests. The property has several sections and little lanes on both sides. We stayed in lane 2 on the left, nearly at the end, and were the only ones there. A white car was parked in the opposite lane when we arrived, but it had left by the time we went. 😅 Our room was clean and very spacious, with good water pressure and cold air conditioning. At check-in, the staff member said they would open the water valve to improve the flow. There was one person at the counter and one security guard, and both gave excellent service. The pool was reasonably clean, nothing bad. I heard the place had only recently reopened after closing during the COVID period, so maybe there isn't renovation money yet. My one complaint was that the towels weren't very clean. The room we got was perfectly fine, but if yours isn't, ask to change rooms. It's a shame to waste your money.
