A simple B&B with very clean rooms and friendly staff. It felt a bit far from the main village, and in the heat and humidity you’ll need a motorbike or taxi. Also, the rounded swimming pool shown on Google Maps belongs to the resort next door, so guests here can’t use it.

The room was dirty, the pool was so gross I wouldn’t get in, and the front desk staff weren’t helpful. It felt overpriced for what you get, especially with restaurants and shops so far away. There are lots of nice places in Khao Lak, so I’d spend my money somewhere else.

Renting a scooter is a good idea for getting to the nice beaches, Bang Niang Market, shops and restaurants. Breakfast has a limited selection, but it’s more than enough. The one small gripe is that the breakfast “coffee” barely tastes like coffee, though it won’t stop us coming back. It’s a lovely small complex, well kept and easy to get around, with friendly owners and staff. The rooms are very spacious and have everything needed, lots of storage, quiet air conditioning and little terraces. The pool is quite large and very clean, as is the rest of the property.
