Andakira

The spacious, well-kept rooms and refreshing pool made for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Andakira Hotel is clean and well placed, close to Patong's activity but peaceful enough to unwind. The staff really made the experience. Zinnie, Pat, Cha, and Mok were warm, friendly, and ready to help every day. Their hospitality made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. I’d definitely recommend Andakira Hotel and will stay here again on my next trip.

The view from my big room was perfect, and they even surprised me for my birthday, which made me really happy. I booked six nights and was very pleased. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is right in the center. You can walk to a market, massage parlor, cafe, and shopping mall. Laundry service and daily room cleaning are available. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Breakfast was very weak, with extremely limited variety, and far below expectations. The breakfast staff, housekeeping team, and especially the bellboys, though, were kind, polite, and helpful. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean, and housekeeping had no issues. The location is quite nice too. We were staying as part of a tour, so the deposit policy didn't apply to us personally. From other guest reviews, the hotel takes 2,000 THB at check-in, then asks guests to wait 5-10 minutes in the lobby at checkout while the room is inspected and missing items are deducted from the deposit. Our own checkout was unpleasant anyway. The receptionist didn't greet us, took our key card, made a call, then told us to wait. After 5-10 minutes she just said “okay, have a nice day.” There was no warmth. At check-in too, the front desk staff seemed unhappy, unmotivated, and rude. I'd give the front desk 1 out of 5, but the rest deserves 5 out of 5, so my overall rating is 3. Wishing everyone a pleasant stay.

The location is excellent, but the rest of our stay was awful. We were due to check out at 6:30 am and called reception the night before at 9:00 pm to ask for early breakfast. The receptionist said nothing could be arranged because we'd called after 8:30 pm. Even when we asked for bread and eggs, they firmly refused. Later, when we challenged the 500 THB towel cleaning charge and asked how it could be justified, reception said housekeeping's decision was final and deducted it from our security deposit. We stayed from 5 Dec 25 to 7 Dec 25. The restaurant is behind reception, and the waiting area smelled strongly of seafood. Although we wouldn't get our room until after 2 pm, the receptionist promptly took a 2000 THB security deposit at 11:30 am. When we asked for cutlery, the restaurant told us to come downstairs, sign a declaration, and carry it to our room ourselves. On the second day, while we were out on a tour, housekeeping cleaned without telling us. Their towel had some hair color stains, and I received a personal message about a 500 THB fine for cleaning it. All the other hotels we stayed in Thailand were friendly. This experience was pathetic, to say the least.
