Tiger House River Kwai

Ma-Maung, the house's superstar dog, was friendly, playful, and full of personality. She made our visit even more special. The whole place was private, beautiful, spotless, and peaceful, with plenty of activities to keep you occupied. We booked three rooms, and all were comfortable, nicely designed, and had great amenities. Staff were attentive, friendly, and ready to help, including with arranging activities. We had an incredible stay at Tiger House River Kwai and will definitely return. Highly recommend!

The scenery along the river was beautiful, and the atmosphere felt friendly and safe. A lovely lady greeted us when we arrived along with Mango the dog, who made a great impression. If you love dogs, you'll love Mango 🥭. Our room was spacious, clean, and modern. My one suggestion would be slightly thicker towels. I rate the place highly and have nothing else to complain about. I'd recommend staying here, and I'd 100% come back to see lovely 🥭 again ❤️

I stayed here on December 27, 2025. The property was clean, the river views were beautiful, and the owner was very welcoming to pets. The serious problem was noise from a neighboring accommodation. Karaoke went on loudly until around midnight, then music started up again around 9:00 a.m., making it very hard to enjoy the natural surroundings. I saw other guests leave early in the morning because of the noise. If you're visiting Kanchanaburi for peace and quiet, this could be a major concern. I strongly hope the owner and local authorities will consider ways to limit karaoke late at night and early in the morning.

A lovely place for a quiet holiday in Kanchanaburi. It isn't too large or busy, and there's a beautiful river view plus a very friendly Labrador host. It's pet friendly, and they offer activities such as kayaking and badminton.
