Golden Manora Bangtao Beach Hotel

We only went ahead with the booking because we wanted to stay in Bangtao, even though we'd booked by mistake and couldn't get a refund. The place was apparently called nice condotel before the management name changed. I wish we'd checked the nice connotes reviews first. This was the worst place we've stayed. We had rooms on the ground floor, and they smelled of mould even with the AC on and windows open. On our last night there was also a dead animal smell in my room. The building is in very bad shape. We didn't use the gym or pool. The bathrooms were awful. There was no hot water, barely any water flow, clogged basins, and water that wouldn't drain. The AC kept switching on and off. They don't provide room service, take out rubbish, clean, or leave bottled water unless you ask. One night we lost our key and there was nobody at reception to help. We booked somewhere else and stayed there that night. This was a terrible mistake.

We just got back from a fantastic trip. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had some nice little details. It was peaceful there, while still being close to the tourist spots. Can't wait to return! 🥰🤟

I rented the place for a month, but there was no cleaning service. At checkout, I was charged another 1k for cleaning, and the old aircon was noisy. I won't stay here again.

The smell was so bad I couldn't stay even for a second, so I cancelled.
