With the airport nearby and the resort adding a relaxed holiday feel, Mission Hills works really well for a short golf getaway. Golfers booking through Fairways of Eden always enjoy the scenery and atmosphere. It’s a unique course in Phuket, with real ocean views from several holes, and a coastal layout that feels quite different from the island’s other courses. The driving range is great for warming up.

The views are great, and the course layout is tricky. But it wasn’t in the best condition, and the green fees felt a bit high compared with other courses. We had bad luck with caddies who spoke no English and weren’t much help. There was no range finder or cooler box, yet the minimum caddy fee is 500 Baht. The rental clubs were old, in poor condition, and overpriced.

It was such a peaceful, tranquil place, and I loved the food. The beach is close by too. I even took a few golf lessons, and both the lessons and the course were just awesome. I loved it.

I was unsure about playing here after reading the average reviews, but we had a really good time. The views are amazing, and the fairways were in decent shape. The greens ran quite slowly but were true. The caddies were good and made the day fun. I play off 10 and enjoyed it a lot. It’s probably not a course for a scratch golfer.

I was traveling alone and felt wonderful here, especially because I felt safe. The staff checked each day that I had what I needed. When I got sick from food unrelated to the hotel on an excursion, they checked on me, and the kitchen staff helped nurse me back to health. I had the best stay EVER and highly recommend this hotel. The scenery was beautiful, the beach was close, and having a kitchen and bar on site was a nice extra. They lend guests bikes, and the pool is so serene. 10 out of 10. I’m looking forward to coming back.
