Adirek Pool Villa

The place has a semi-loft look and a pool, and it worked well for a family. It's a little out of the way, but I thought it was great overall. There are two big bedrooms with queen beds and attached bathrooms, plus a smaller room with a single bed. That room has no ensuite, though there's a separate bathroom outside. It sleeps up to 10, and most of the furniture and bedding are from IKEA. Ice, water and soda are included. Instant noodles and Lay's chips cost extra. The kitchen basics are there, including plates, bowls, cutlery, a microwave, kettle and BBQ grill. You can reserve it on Agoda, though booking direct costs less.

I woke up more than ten times during the night, and the next day's plans were almost completely wrecked. The alley had so many stray dogs barking all night, and the place had virtually no soundproofing at all. For somewhere meant for sleeping, that made getting a peaceful night's rest impossible. The pool was filthy, with poorly done tiling, sharp edges and lots of underwater right angles that seemed easy to get hurt on. At 7,900 Thai Baht a night for 10-12 people, the price itself is okay, but this place is completely unsuitable as a guesthouse. Are you kidding me?

I loved the privacy and the great atmosphere here. The room was clean, nicely decorated and had everything I needed, plus there's a pool.

There's a private pool, and the place has a lovely atmosphere. If you want somewhere comfortable with a nice feel, I'd definitely recommend staying here! 😅🩷
