The food was good, with Tunisian specialties on the menu. There is a small indoor pool, and the garden with palm and lemon trees is well kept. We were on a pre-booked package tour. The hotel is in good shape and has a pleasant feel, and the waiters, front desk staff, and bar staff were friendly and attentive.

The outside pool was cold and packed with loud teenagers. The indoor pool was warm and a good depth, with no children, though the tiles needed scrubbing and the area needed maintenance. Breakfast was meager, with instant coffee, watery juice, and generic yogurt with added sugar and stabilizers. Maybe that's because they cater to student and school groups. We were there for two nights on a group tour, and French and Italian student groups also stop here, so it could get boisterous and noisy. The building's design and size suggest it may once have been a 4 or 5 star place, but it's dated now. Our room was spacious enough, but had no opening window, few sockets, and dim lighting. It's on the edge of town, within walking distance, and the terrace and restaurant look out over the pool. I'd have rated it higher with a better breakfast.

The buffet restaurant served very good food, and dinner had much more variety than breakfast. Drinks at the bar were amazingly priced. The hotel has a nice local style, and the rooms are still cozy, though some areas need renovation. The pool was great too.

I've stayed here many times, and they have kept their standards up over the years. The waiters at the restaurant in particular provide great service. The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located, just a short walk or taxi ride from most of the town's must-see places. Definitely recommend it.

We had a nice overnight stop while visiting Tunisia's Sahara region. The pool looks amazing, and the place itself is impressive. I'm not sure you can book it directly, as it seemed available only for overnight stays. The staff were very polite, but service was a bit slow: we'd finished eating before our drinks arrived. The room was clean, but comfort was lacking. The beds were extremely hard, and the air conditioning was supposed to be set to low for maximum capacity. The shower was rusty and green in many spots, and its head was starting to come apart.
