Hôtel Samarons

At the entrance, the security man was shockingly rude and unprofessional. He acted aggressively and impolitely, then hinted that I should pay him just to enter the restaurant and meet friends who were already inside. That kind of treatment is unacceptable and reflects badly on Samaron Hotel. I'm not coming back, and I'd tell anyone considering it to think twice. There are better, more respectful places in the area.

The only thing going for it is the location, close to everything. Otherwise, it was expensive for what you got: the room was tiny, there was no minibar or fridge, and the first-floor windows were covered from the outside. The corridors had a strange smell.

I’d rate it 3 out of 5 overall. The room felt cramped and very small, and breakfast was all served cold. There are only three or four parking spots out front, so otherwise you’re looking for street parking. It’s an average hotel, even though it’s apparently considered a five-star place in Tunisia.

The rooms are clean and nicely done, with modern touches, and the hotel has a good look to it. Staff were friendly and professional. It’s a newer business hotel in Ennasr’s residential area, with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops close by. Highly recommended.
