It was a lovely experience, and the house gave me a real sense of Turkish history. Honestly, I thought the stay was beautiful.

There were no basics provided: no toilet paper, towels, drinking water, shampoo, or body wash. The listing mentions a separate apartment in the garden, but we weren't allowed to use it. Getting here is also a long trip from the city, about a 2-hour ferry ride, which might be cancelled in bad weather. I wouldn't recommend staying here. If you do want to stay on the island, I'm sure there are plenty of decent alternatives.

Be careful, the place isn't what it looks like. The host was rude and unfriendly, and I felt he just wanted to scam us for money. There wasn't even bottled water or toilet paper. Two other families live there too, and it's right next to the mosque. Don't book this place!

The place was very dirty and the host was unfriendly. Some of our belongings were damaged by the house, but he didn't accept any payment from us and gave no answer at all.
