Sunny Garden Beach & Hotel

The food was a lovely surprise. Beach food usually isn’t anything special, but everything we tried was delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices seemed fair for what’s around. My girlfriend and I spent a week here and were very happy with the stay. The beach has room to relax, unlike the cramped spots elsewhere in Bodrum, and the young staff were all polite and great. We also loved how they cared for the stray dogs, which added something special to our holiday. We’ll be back.

The one lovely thing was the sea, a gift from nature. Everything else was a major disappointment. Our room smelled awful when we arrived around 6 pm, apparently because the window had been shut all day, and the mosquito net was torn when we tried to air it out. The sheets were ripped, supposedly new towels had hair on them, and the toilet was so filthy that even disinfectant wouldn’t make it appealing to use. Breakfast began at 9, but by 9:10 the tea had run out, and when it came back there were no cups. We had no towels to hold the bread for cutting, so we ended up eating bread left behind and touched by the people ahead of us. We left a night early. Nobody asked if something was wrong, and they couldn’t manage even a word of conversation. A business shouldn’t be run this way when customer relations are so poor.

We picked Sunny Garden for a family week with my 1.5-year-old nephew, and it worked really well for all of us. The rooms were clean, the beach was lovely, and the staff were attentive and respectful. It’s welcoming and comfortable, so the baby and the rest of the family could relax. There are also good conditions for children to meet and pet dogs. We’ll come back every summer. ☺️☺️😍

The sea is calm and clear, and it gets deep quickly. It’s a normal Karaincir sea and suitable for children. Staff were helpful and orders came quickly. Entry requires a spend limit of 150 TL per person, while cafe prices seemed reasonable: coffee 20 TL, lemonade 30 TL, pizza and pita bread 40 TL, tea 10 TL. Alcohol was reasonably priced too. Cleanliness, though, is a problem. The toilets were in terrible shape, and the beach wasn’t clean either.
