I paid ahead for two days, but had to leave after one and they wouldn’t refund the money. The rooms were miserable to stay in, damp and smelling of cigarette smoke throughout. The old heaters would leave you freezing in autumn or winter. There was no electricity for the first 4-5 hours after I entered the room, and I later found out a fuse had blown. The service was terrible. Even one star feels too generous, and I absolutely don’t recommend this place.

If you’re coming for military interviews, the prices are quite reasonable and the service is excellent. It’s clean and hygienic, even though it’s on a busy street, and you can stay with peace of mind. Congrats to everyone who chooses to stay here! :)

I came to Ankara from Mardin and am staying at the Özgün Hotel. I’m very pleased with my stay. Thanks to the owner, the staff, and Doğan Güven.

This place was filthy, cold, and unhealthy. I’d sooner sleep in my car than stay here again.
