Pak Otel

I was in Alvise Ca Zorzi’s travel group, and he’s already explained what happened last night. If you want to avoid being scammed, I’d stay away from this place.

The staff were friendly, but breakfast was poor. The place smelled of cigarettes, the toilet didn’t work, and neither did the heating in November. That’s what you need to know.

I called on June 5th, 2026, about a shared room and was quoted 1600 TL. When I arrived at the hotel on the evening of June 7th, they said it would be 1750 TL and told me the 1600 TL price wasn’t available. What a shame. The rooms are awful, so unbearable I wouldn’t even stay there to take an exam. I absolutely can’t recommend it.

I’ve spent 14 years working in tourism and stay in city hotels all the time for my job. I usually leave a thank-you review when I’m happy with a place, but people should know about this stay at Pak Hotel in Gölbaşı, Ankara. I paid 1800 TL for one night, and what I got fell far short of the price. I can’t recommend it to anyone. ⭐ 1/5 The room wasn’t clean enough, and the very old beds and awful pillows were uncomfortable enough to give me headaches. Exposed electrical wires at head height were disturbing to look at and seemed like a serious safety risk. Basic things were missing too: there was no kettle, glasses, mini-fridge, room phone, or hairdryer. Breakfast was a letdown: boiled eggs, potatoes served so cold they were inedible, and a pastry-like thing as hard as a rock. Tea was the only drinkable item. Payment was another concern. They took it via IBAN but provided no receipt, invoice, or other proof, which didn’t inspire confidence. I’ve stayed in much better, higher-quality city hotels for 1300-2000 TL.
