The photos don’t match what’s there, so be careful. My bed was dirty, the bathroom was filthy, and the faucets leaked. Wires were hanging out of the walls, the window wouldn’t shut, and there weren’t even any hangers. You could hear every footstep because there’s no soundproofing. It felt like a prison cell, and this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

There’s no lift, so be prepared to carry big bags up the stairs. My room had no toilet paper, and both the towels and bed were stained. The air conditioner didn’t work, and after a full day of travel I had to take a cold shower at night because there was no hot water. Noise from outside the room came through clearly.

The room itself could be better, but they’re renovating, and at this price the service and location make that less of an issue for me. The staff did their best to handle every request and even helped me find luggage I’d left in a taxi. The location is great, with the Old Town across the street and the park and sea about a five-minute walk away. Good luck to the owners, and thank you.

The new owner, Sibel, is working to update the hotel and give the building a fresh start. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was affordable. It’s in a good location. Thanks for your efforts, Sibel. Recommended!
