City Moonlight Apart Hotel

The kids were so frightened by how we were treated that after the pool incident, they didn’t want to stay at the hotel anymore. My 6-year-old autistic son peed in the pool. We were embarrassed and tried to explain what had happened, but staff made us leave the pool and said it needed cleaning. I never felt welcome at any point. It seemed to me as if the owner worked there and treated the place like their home, not a hotel. The staff never greeted us, and I never saw anyone smile. Cameras are all over the hotel, and the grumpy receptionist seemed to watch us all day. The kitchen opens onto the restaurant, has no exhaust fan, and they don’t open the door or windows. The smell in the restaurant is nauseating. In the apartment there was just one pot, no knives or kitchen utensils, and nothing to clean with, not even a broom. There’s a mosque across the street with a tower and loudspeakers that repeat prayers day and night. I woke in the middle of the night, disoriented at first because I didn’t understand what I was hearing. You can hear it from miles away, so it was very loud just a few meters away.

Those two lovely, smiley girls at breakfast made each morning feel warm. They greeted us kindly, prepared the food with care, and made sure we got what we wanted. The reception staff were also consistently welcoming, professional, and ready to help with anything. We spent 10 days at the city moonlight Hotel. It was clean and comfortable, with a great atmosphere, and we had a wonderful stay. We’d definitely return, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, well-run place.

We had a good breakfast, and the staff were kind, helpful, and spoke several languages, including Arabic and English. The location was excellent for our family of four, with two young daughters, close to malls, supermarkets, the old city, and the bazaar. The receptionists, especially Marwan and Abdulla, were very helpful. We spent 5 days here and I’d come back if I visit Anatalya again.

This place felt more like a hostel and more like a 2-star stay. The photos online showed nothing like what we found. The couch was stained, the table greasy, and the floors were all very dirty. If you expect clean rooms or luxury, you’ll be extremely disappointed. It was outdated and dirty, and for the same price you can get a great hotel. I’d prepaid, otherwise I would’ve left.
