Ersoy Ikiz Otel

The location was the one good thing. I gave one star because I couldn’t give zero or less. Our room was dirty, the sheets were stained, and there was hair everywhere in the awful bathroom. Staff didn’t clean or change the sheets and pillowcases for four days, even after we told them it needed doing. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and breakfast was a tragedy. Most of the staff didn’t understand or speak English, apart from one woman. Not recommended at all.

Service was poor, and the staff didn’t speak English. There are several poorly rated hostels with the same “Ersoy” name in this area. I can only guess that corruption is why places like this aren’t closed. When I was leaving, in a hurry to get to the airport, a staff member who didn’t know English tried to ask whether I wanted a bill and caused trouble. Don’t pay much for a stay here. It cost me less than ten euro.

The staff were really nice and helpful, and the room had everything I needed, including Wi-Fi and a mini fridge. It was clean throughout, with new furniture, though the rooms are a little small. Very good location.

Good value for a limited budget. The rooms are small but nicely maintained, and the staff are cooperative. It’s well located near the city centre and market areas. :)
