Lilium Boutique Hotel

The restaurant team gave us the best service, especially one gentleman who seemed to be there all the time and still always had a smile. We came from Canada for my dental work and stayed a week at Lilium. After 14 hours of flying, we arrived late in pouring rain and discovered a mix-up on my dentist’s side meant we had no reservation. The receptionist found us a room, helped carry our things upstairs, and dealt with the clinic herself, which saved us a lot of hassle. Our room was kept immaculate throughout. I’d highly recommend staying here. Thanks to the Lilium team.

The pool wasn’t open even though it was hot, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the staff were welcoming and lovely, and the rooms were nice, though basic, with low beds and windows that could’ve used a clean. There’s a bus stop right outside, with the number 8 bus going to the old town in about 40 minutes for 83 pence, or to Terra City shopping mall in about 20 minutes. I loved my stay and will definitely come again.

The staff were lovely and went out of their way to help us. We stayed six nights while having dental work done, and the suite suited us well for a longer visit. The hotel was really clean and had everything we needed. It’s near the beach and on a bus route, with shops and places to eat close by. Breakfast was really good, and we had other meals there too. Couldn’t fault our stay.

The photos online make this place look much nicer than it was. The bathroom was filthy, with dust and hair on the floor, hair in the shower, and a generally poor clean. It was also noisy, and I saw cockroaches on the walls near the pool. It feels as though being close to the airport matters more than keeping the hotel maintained. I don’t understand the positive reviews that led me to book, and I’d avoid it if hygiene matters to you.
