Mai İnci Hotel

We picked an economy room for our family trip with my elderly parent, and it was good value. It had a hairdryer and a decent wardrobe. Just know that these rooms have no windows, and the walls are thin, so you can hear noise. We were exhausted after exploring and slept through it, though. The best part is the location. Kaleici, the Old Town, is easy to reach, and the tram and bus stops right there made getting around simple for our group. There's also an A.101 mart nearby for snacks and anything else we needed. Breakfast was fresh and great, with omelets, boiled eggs, yogurt, and lots of traditional Turkish bread to choose from. The receptionists and other staff were friendly and genuinely helpful. They also have good promotions for their massage and Turkish bath services. We'd gladly come back.

The quiet outdoor cafe courtyard is a lovely place to have tea or get some work done, with plants all around. We chose a room at the back and had a peaceful stay. Wi-Fi was reliably good, and breakfast was excellent and included every morning. For just over $52 USD a night, the quality felt like a real win. We also made great use of the free sauna, and the full spa on site, including a reasonably priced Turkish Hammam, was a highlight.

The sauna and hammam were beautiful places to unwind, and the massage was skilled and really eased my tiredness. My room was very clean, and the shared spaces felt stylish and comfortable, with lots of greenery. The staff were so kind. They brought me tea while I was in the lobby and took plenty of photos for me when I asked. Such a heartwarming stay, and worth more than the price. A wonderful memory!!!!

We liked this family-run hotel so much that we kept extending our stay after the first several days last week. The courtyard between reception and the dining room was lovely, and you could see it from the breakfast room windows. The sauna was a great bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was wonderful, with lots of choices. I especially liked the cooked vegetable salads. Our balcony looked out onto an ugly rooftop, but at least we had one. As full-time retired travelers, we found the room had so many things we look for: plenty of bottled water for the kettle, a mini fridge, loads of counter space, a large bathroom counter for toiletries, a clean shower with good pressure, and a big wardrobe. They also brought extra hangers when we asked. The hotel was very clean and well kept. We'll definitely return.
