Haroon made our family holiday feel so welcoming from the moment we arrived. He greeted us kindly and politely, with fresh fruit and juice after our journey from the UK. We came in July with our friends’ family from Pakistan, and he arranged four clean, comfortable rooms so we could all stay together in Turkey. They were simple rather than high-fi, but had what we needed, and the air conditioning worked perfectly in the heat. My bathroom smelled a little at first, but it was sorted out later. The children were happy to have their own beds. We often left early, and breakfast was always ready on time and tasted excellent. I still miss the refreshing watermelon. The location was convenient, and Haroon even helped us wash our wet clothes after water activities. His wife was lovely too, and gave me lavender flowers that I’ve kept as a sweet memory. We had a really fun, memorable stay. I meant to write this sooner, but life got busy. Thank you, Haroon. We’d happily stay again if we get the chance, and I recommend it.

I only stopped in for tea and a break from the sun, but meeting the owner, Aaron (or Haroon?), left quite an impression. He was genuinely nice and had a great way with guests. I’ll stay at his hotel whenever I’m back in Antalya. There are turtles, or tortoises, at the hotel too. I’m not sure which, since Finnish has just one word for both.

The place is neat and tidy, with free wi-fi, and the pool is a lovely break from the heat. Don’t miss the freshly made cakes and breads, they’re about as fresh as it gets. Management are friendly and always ready to go the extra mile. Well worth a visit.

We had a great stay in Antalya Old Town. The building has a lovely atmosphere, and the location is quiet while still close to everything. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and the place was great value. Thank you.

Mavi & Ani's has a comfortable bed, a good breakfast, and a beautiful garden, but what made it memorable was the people. The host was the kindest, funniest, most generous one I met in Turkey. I’d already stayed with six other hotel owners from Istanbul to Izmir to Cas and beyond, and nobody was as accommodating. Even the host's friends, family, and the hotel owners on the same block were generous to guests of Mavi & Ani. It isn’t the most glamorous place in Old Town, but it’s easily the most interesting and fun. The old building has classic Turkish tables in the garden courtyard and upstairs common area, without lots of unnecessary decor. Wander around old town on foot, then enjoy the comfort and character of Mavi & Ani Pension.
