The sea view from our room was a highlight, and the location is central and handy for exploring. The sauna and hammam were available, though the hammam smelled unpleasant. Breakfast was decent but the same each day. Service varied: the male receptionist was friendly and helpful, while other staff were less hospitable, and some struggled to communicate in English. In the room, the bathroom had a noticeable sewage smell, a light that switched off every few minutes, and cleanliness that wasn’t fully satisfactory. We could hear noise from other rooms, and the Wi-Fi was very slow and unsecured. The hotel could also do more to cut single-use amenities and avoid changing towels every day when it isn’t necessary.

The beds and pillows were so comfortable, six days sleeping on a cloud, just right, not too hard or squishy. I left with good memories of Antalya and would stay again. The rooms are basic, and the back looks onto buildings, but I got used to that. It was quiet without traffic, and I was glad to be on the 4th floor. I had a great stay and would highly recommend it. The staff were flexible and helpful. You may need to remind them about the sauna 20 minutes ahead so they can turn it on, but they were flexible, and it felt clean with fresh air. My clothes blew off the balcony and they rescued them almost immediately. I gave the receptionist a big hug, since the clothes were brand new. Only one has marks, and hopefully the treatment will work. Housekeeping was amazing. I felt like I had a caring mother figure, with little touches like putting my toothbrush and toothpaste in separate cups. One housekeeper greeted me with a smile every morning. I asked her for a cloth to remove the strong perfume in the room, which seemed to come from a cabinet, and after that we had a more personal connection. The cleaning was so thorough that I panicked when my things were moved and my hidden valuables exposed, but most of my currency is useless in Turkey, and the 20E was still there. The kitchen and breakfast ladies were very kind and quick to clear dishes and tables. I could go get another drink and they’d already tidied up. There were some unpleasant smells. The Turkish bath and downstairs bathrooms felt generally unclean, damp, stagnant and without fresh air. It had a smelly men’s gym locker feel, and it didn’t seem to be cleaned, aired or bleached between uses. The downstairs bathroom smelled strongly of sewage, with wet toilet paper on the floor. You probably won’t need to use it, but I hope that can be addressed. My room had been heavily sprayed with very strong perfume. I left the door open to pull the air out, wiped surfaces in case it was on the walls or cabinets, and kept airing it out as much as possible. It was better the next day. One night there was also a sewage smell from the drain and strong smoke coming through the vents from a guest. That guest didn’t stay, and those smells lasted only that night and part of the morning. Smoking isn’t supposed to be allowed in rooms, but someone did it with their balcony door closed, so the smoke went into their room and through the vents. I had to open my door in cold, damp weather to clear it. That was inconsiderate guest behaviour and a temporary sewage issue, and in my case it passed. Breakfast was high quality, with eggs, cooked vegetables and different sauces, but there wasn’t much protein beyond eggs or much variety. Six days of the same eggs and vegetables got boring, though I tried different sauces. The food wasn’t kept hot, but staff warmed it in the microwave when I asked. Most dishes were quite plain, so more rotation and flavour would help. It worked for gluten-free eating, though half the selection was bread-based. A cat somehow ended up in the sauna area, which was 😍😍😍😍. Best sauna atmosphere ever 😹. I doubt anyone else will get that lucky.

The staff were really nice and helpful, and the location was amazing. I stayed five days and walked everywhere without needing a taxi. The prices are very reasonable for what they provide. I’ve stayed in 4- to 5-star hotels that gave the same service as this 3-star one. They also have a rule against eating in the room, which makes sense since food can leave smells or stains on the sheets. It didn’t bother me. I’d highly recommend it.

We were assigned the basement apartment, and it was mouldy, poorly ventilated and unsanitary, with a strong smell that never went away. I was staying with my children, so it felt like a serious health concern and was unfit for people to stay in. In my view, listing this particular unit on Booking.com is misleading and potentially unsafe. Other apartments in the building might be acceptable, but this one shouldn’t be advertised. I’m genuinely shocked the property has a 7.8 rating; it doesn’t reflect the conditions we faced. Because it was Christmas, there were no alternative places to stay nearby. With children, I didn’t feel safe risking having nowhere to go or cancelling on the spot, so we had to remain there. The experience caused a lot of distress and discomfort, unnecessary anxiety, and ruined our holiday. It fell far below what I expected from a property listed on Booking.com. Unhygienic. Mouldy. Dumpster.

I’m posting this here because Agoda wouldn’t let me submit the review. We had a modern-style room in a handy spot, away from the late-night noise and bustle of the old town. Arriving in Antalya around 10:30pm, it was convenient to have a 24-hour front desk and parking for our late check-in. A distinguished-looking man who spoke fluent English welcomed us and helped us get settled, and the other staff were friendly too. The main annoyance was the bathroom light sensor. It seemed to switch off every 30 seconds, so we kept waving our hands in the air like we didn’t care. 😅
