Suite Laguna Hotel

There are several small markets and restaurants within a block, and the hotel has great Wi-Fi throughout. My room was a good size, with air conditioning and heat, a roomy bathroom, kettle, and small fridge. I booked the breakfast rate, which came with a small table-service breakfast. The buffet may be available in busier months, but it wasn’t running when I was there. The location is good value, two blocks from the ocean and an easy 20-minute walk to the old town. The hotel was being upgraded, and it was the slow season, so there weren’t many guests. See more reviews at RealTySharpe on tiktok and Tripadvisor.

The hotel was great, but the woman at the front desk really made my stay. She was charming, always smiling, helpful, and professional. Honestly, she was the nicest part of the whole visit. Five stars don’t feel like enough.

Mustafa at the front of house made my stay at Suite Laguna Hotel unforgettable. I was dealing with a particularly difficult situation, and he went well beyond what I expected to help. He personally assisted me and even offered to pay for me when I was in need. His warmth and generosity made the visit so pleasant. It’s rare to meet someone so caring and dedicated to guests having a good experience. The hotel is lucky to have him. Thank you, Mustafa, for such remarkable service.

The hotel’s location is its biggest advantage, between the beach and the old city. There’s also a free shuttle to the beach. We enjoyed the outdoor pool when we didn’t feel like heading to the sea, and breakfast was good. The room was neat and tidy. Staff were very professional, management was kind and helpful, and the cleaning lady on the first floor is an angel.
