Villa Verde Pension

Friendly staff, a good location, and a good price were the few positives. The couch was good too, but nothing was excellent. The fare was very good, as I said, and the staff were very friendly, but I wouldn't recommend staying here when there are better options around. I booked a double queen bed but got two twin beds pushed together. There were little cockroaches in the bathroom, the hand-wash water stayed stagnant, shower water ran out of the tub, and the bathroom was generally full of fungus. The common areas were dirty, and the TV was placed awkwardly for watching from bed. On the morning of the 28th, staff woke us and asked us to leave, not realizing we'd paid through the 29th. The manager, who didn't speak to us directly, then wanted to charge for the late checkout we'd asked for, with no consideration. It wasn't a good experience.
